Amuse Event | Virginia Bounty, Troddenvale Cider, and Artist Molly Reeder

This unique dining experience will be a hymn to the beauty and bounty of Virginia, as Shine Farms, Old Tavern Farm, Troddenvale cider, and artist Molly Reeder come together for a remarkable collaboration. Guests will enjoy a thoughtfully paired, multi-course dinner led by the Amuse chef team and the farmers themselves. Reeder has created a special keepsake menu for all guests and will have her art on display. This will be a dinner you do not want to miss! Price is inclusive of menu, wine pairings, tax, and service.

Art of Wine | Exploring Italy

Experience the romance, richness, and regional diversity of Italy. For VMFA's next Art of Wine event, we're bringing the spirit of Italy’s vineyards and kitchens into the heart of the museum. Each pour showcases the depth and character of Italy’s famed wine regions, offering a tasting journey that spans rolling hills, coastal breezes, and centuries of tradition. To complement the wines, VMFA’s culinary team presents an inspired menu of Italian‑influenced dishes.  The wine tasting portion will be presented by Free Run Wine Merchants.

Art of Wine | Rosé, Bubbles & Oysters

Celebrate summer with the elegance of rosés, sparkling wines, and lighter-bodied reds. These wines will be paired with delectable oysters provided by Big Island Aquaculture from Hayes, Virginia. Each guest will receive a VMFA wineglass, a drink ticket for one full glass of wine, unlimited wine tastings, and half a dozen oysters with condiments.

Art of Wine | Comparing French & Virginian Wines

Experience an evening of discovery, elegance, and regional pride as we compare French and Virginian wines. This curated tasting presents two storied wine cultures side by side in lively conversation. Guests will explore a selection of classic French wines, each thoughtfully paired with a comparable Virginia varietal that showcases the Commonwealth’s rising craftsmanship. To complement the pours, VMFA’s culinary team presents a menu of elegant bites rooted in French technique alongside dishes celebrating regional ingredients and Southern heritage. The wine tasting portion will be presented by Elite Wines.
