Vivian Driskill, a passionate jewelry designer since 2007, crafts unique narrative-driven pieces by blending found objects and crafted components. She collaborates with clients to create personalized wearable art, drawing inspiration from travels to experiment with unconventional materials in her Williamsburg studio. With a background in clothing and textiles, Driskill has gained recognition in national publications and regional art shows, showcasing her intuitive approach that ranges from whimsical to profound compositions in both jewelry and assemblage sculpture.

Moon Shadow Botanics Pop-Up

A mixed-media artist with a background in painting and horticulture, Katie Carline’s Paper Florals & Floral Preservation are inspired by her experience in the field as a farmer
with a true passion for the botanical. Carline enjoys creating realistic ornamental stems that look as if they’ve just been cut from the garden or using arbitrary color and patterns for a mutated surrealist specimen.

Henry & Eve scarves start with original art by textile designers Suzie and Sarah Rowland, a mother-daughter duo. Suzie, a lamp designer and artist from North Carolina, uses various mediums. Sarah, with a graphic design background, incorporates pencil drawings, markers, and natural elements. Their scarves, made of 100% silk twill, are sold in limited editions of 50.

Wallflower Ceramics Pop-Up

Jane Martin creates her floral wall pieces entirely by hand in her Richmond ceramics studio. Her bouquets of colorful blossoms and leaves are assembled into a hand-thrown vase or bound by a ribbon of clay and affixed to a brightly stenciled earthenware tile. Each work is not only a study in color but also an exploration of gesture and movement in a medium that is, paradoxically, fixed and static.

Danielle Stevens creates heirloom bridal and bespoke jewelry pieces that hold cherished stories. Out of their studio in Charlottesville, Stevens works with couples to create their own one-of-a-kind ceremonial rings and designs fine jewelry. Working one on one with folks to have a deeper understanding of what they are looking for, from the nuances of texture and color to redesigning cherished jewelry, Stevens offers a thoughtful approach through their making practice and design.

Join us for a holiday pop-up with Jason McLeod, who makes all his jewelry by hand in his Charlottesville studio. McLeod is assisted by several jewelers that he himself trained. The pieces are hand-fabricated using many traditional techniques, including forming, chasing, engraving, soldering, polishing, and stone setting.
