As the only East Coast venue and one of only two venues nationwide, VMFA presents a rare opportunity to be in the presence of this singular artist's immortalizing work. More than 60 paintings, drawings, prints, and photographs, many rarely seen outside of Mexico, include Frida Kahlo's self-portraits, still lifes, and more, plus images of Kahlo captured by photographers.

Como única sede en la Costa Este y una de las dos únicas en todo el país, el VMFA ofrece una oportunidad sin igual de estar en presencia de la obra que inmortaliza a esta singular artista. Este conjunto de más de 60 pinturas, dibujos, grabados y fotografías en exhibición, muchos de los cuales se han expuesto poco fuera de México, incluye autorretratos de Frida Kahlo y naturalezas muertas, entre otras obras, además de imágenes de Kahlo captadas por artistas de la fotografía.
