Zines are powerful research tools to explore and communicate ideas. In this hands-on workshop, find ways to incorporate zine-making into your educational practice. Join Kristin Alexander, VMFA's Fine Art Reference and Acquisitions Librarian, and Kate Kalunzy, Photo Archivist for VMFA's Margaret R. and Robert M. Freeman Library, to learn how to utilize VMFA's extensive zine collection. This workshop is applicable to practicing educators in K-12 and college classrooms, libraries, museums, and community organizations.
Lunch and zine-making materials are included.
