Selections from Appalshop, the famed Appalachian film workshop that documents the culture of that region. Featuring "Stranger with a Camera," "Long Journey Home," "Bright Morning Stars," and "The Johnsons of Hemphill." The program also includes a short work-in-progress about homelessness in Appalachia that focuses on the differences between the rural and urban experience and remarks from Appalshop filmmakers Madison Buchanan and Aaron Asbury.
