[TW16] Wednesday Workshops | Digital Photography (Ages 13-17)

Wednesday, March 18 & 25, 5–7 pm (2 sessions) | Art Education Center, Studio 1 
TYGER BELTON

Ages 13–17 | Develop the skill to see, photograph, and edit successful images with any digital camera, from DSRLs to iPhones. Use selected editing tools and apps for enhancing photos and designs. DSLR cameras are available for use, 
but students are welcome to bring their own cameras and camera phones, as well as a USB flash drive for saving images.

Wednesday, April 8, 15 & 22, 5–7 pm (3 sessions) | Art Education Center, Studio 1 
CATHERINE PURDY

Ages 13–17 | Enjoy sightseeing around the museum for Impressionist inspiration. Paint with quality acrylics on canvas while focusing on color, light, 
and brushwork to depict fleeting moments in time. Weather permitting, students may go outside to paint en plein air.

KENDRA WADSWORTH

Ages 13–17 | Reinvent the wheel—literally. Inspired by works such as Duchamp’s readymades and Rauschenberg’s combines, transform an ordinary bicycle wheel into a unique work of art. Use the wheel as a circular loom and weave through the spokes with repurposed fabrics of all different styles, textures, and colors. Please bring a nut-free bagged lunch from home.
